The Society of State Leaders of Health and Physical Education is proud to announce the appointment of our new Executive Director, Cathy D. Whaley, MS, MCHES, effective September 2025.

With a distinguished career in nonprofit administration and health and physical education leadership, Cathy brings a wealth of experience, vision, and passion to the Society. Her commitment to advancing the WSCC framework aligns perfectly with our mission to support state leaders in creating healthier learning environments for all students.
